Shearer's Picture Framing is run by me, Neil Shearer from my home compact workshop in Cowplain, Waterlooville Hampshire. I have over 25+ years experience as a professional picture framer, covering all aspects of picture framing.
I like to offer a professional relaxed friendly atmosphere and operate an a appointment system only as work a full time job, this still allows me to continue my passion of framing at weekends, in my spare time & the occasional evenings.
"I frame anything". Original art, prints, photo's, certificates, sports shirts & sporting memorabilia, Military medals & Military memorabilia, 3D, cross stitch, tapestry & needle work, papyrus, Batik & silks, rolled & stretched canvases, ready made & shadow box frames just to name a few.
There is nothing too big or too small that I have not been able to tackle over the years, and I always welcome a new challenge.
With a large selection of frame profile mouldings, a multitude of acid free, conservation mountboard colours in white or black core, suedette or linen, whilst using standard 2mm float glass, 2mm diffused (non-reflective) glass, UV reflection free Art glass, and acrylic plexi glass, there is something suitable for everyone. From framing a simple photo, precious original art works to those cherished priceless sentimental items. You can be rest assured, your work or item is in safe hands and treated with respect at all times.
I am also an artist and an armed forces veteran, and I understand and take time to ensure my customer’s needs are met at all times.
